Mike Pilato , Director, President & CEO

Mike Pilato is President, CEO, and board director with Jamieson Wellness, assuming these roles in June 2021. He joined Jamieson Wellness as President, Specialty Brands, in October 2018 and in February 2020, became President of Jamieson Canada with responsibility for growing our full portfolio of brands in our home country. Mike has diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience across companies of various sizes. Prior to Jamieson, he was with The Clorox Company for over a decade, holding senior positions in Finance, Brand Management, and Sales. For four years he was General Manager and President, Canada, where he led the organization to unprecedented growth across multiple categories including household products, natural health, and personal care. Prior to joining Clorox, Mike held various cross-functional roles at Playtex Products and Kraft Foods. He has also spent time in leadership positions in the start-up space. Currently, Mike serves on the Board of Directors at Melanoma Canada. He previously served as a Director at the Food, Health and Consumer Products Association of Canada (FHCP) from 2015,to 2023, including terms as Vice-Chair and Treasurer. Mike also previously served on the boards of the Canadian Consumer Specialty Products Association (CCSPA), Avante Logixx Inc (XX.V), and Breakaway Community Services. Mike holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University, as well as a CPA, CMA designation.

Christopher Snowden , Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary

Christopher Snowden has been our Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary since July 2014. Prior to joining our Company, Mr. Snowden served as the Vice President Corporate Controller of Sofina Foods, a large Canadian marketer of value-added protein and grocery products. Previously, he worked for SunOpta Inc. in various finance roles, including as Vice President of Finance, Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer of SunOpta’s Fruit Group. Prior to joining SunOpta Inc., Mr. Snowden worked at Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Auditor. Mr. Snowden is a Chartered Public Accountant of Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor.

Regan Stewart , Chief Operations & People Officer

Regan Stewart is our Chief Operations & People Officer, with oversight of Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Human Resources. Her unique experience combining cross-functional business experience in manufacturing, supply chain and human resources brought her to Jamieson in March 2016. Beginning her career as a manufacturing engineer in operations, Ms. Stewart has held a variety of management positions in increasing responsibility throughout several industries, all with a focus on improving process and ultimately the bottom line. Ms. Stewart transitioned her career in operations to focus on people and was accountable for all aspects of human resources for Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions and also held senior leadership positions in human resources at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. and as the Production and Facilities Manager at Steelcase Inc. Ms. Stewart is a Six Sigma Black Belt and Professional Engineer. She graduated from Western University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.

John Doherty , Chief Science & Innovation Officer

John Doherty has been our Chief Science and Innovation Officer since July 2013. He is responsible for product quality and overseeing products manufactured under the exacting standards of both a Health Canada drug manufacturing license as well as Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration clearance. In addition, Mr. Doherty is responsible for regulatory matters, consumer affairs, clinical research and innovation. Prior to Jamieson, Mr. Doherty lead clinical research and innovation at Iovate Health Sciences International, an industry pioneer in the U.S. sports nutrition and weight loss sector. Mr. Doherty holds a Bachelor of Science in Plant Biotechnology from University of Guelph, and is the inventor of a number of dietary supplement patents, relating to both novel claims and applications for natural ingredients, as well as delivery systems technology.

Don Bird , Executive Vice President & Managing Director, Strategic Partners & Global Business Development

Don Bird is responsible for leading Jamieson Wellness’ Strategic Partners business and developing global branded business opportunities and customer relationships. He has been with Jamieson Wellness since 2017 and has more than 30 years of experience leading sales, marketing and business development functions in the VMS industry in Canada and internationally.

Before joining Jamieson, Don was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at WN Pharmaceuticals Ltd., taking its flagship Webber Naturals brand from a small vitamin E business in 1998 to the multinational supplement brand it is today.

During this time, Don also built WN’s private label business, and many other natural product brands including Sunkist, MultiSure, MetaSlim, and Treehouse. Don was also a long-time member of the executive team of WN’s parent company, the Factors Group of Nutritional Companies Inc., acting as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Factors Group, as well as for its subsidiary, Natural Factors.

Joel Scales , Executive Vice President, Jamieson International, Global Strategy & E-commerce

Joel Scales is responsible for leading Jamieson Wellness’ corporate strategy, expansion of our global E-commerce capabilities, as well as the company’s International and China business units. Since joining Jamieson in 2015, Joel has progressed through several leadership roles within insights and marketing. Prior to Jamieson, Joel held several insights roles at Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo Foods. During this time, he worked across a variety of different industries including pharmaceuticals, beauty care and food/snacks. Joel holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.

Paul Galbraith , Executive Vice President & Managing Director, USA

Paul Galbraith leads Jamieson’s U.S. cross-functional business unit. Previously, he held the position of Sr. Vice President and Managing Director, Canada, responsible for leading our Canadian sales growth plans and executions across our customer base. Prior to joining the company in August 2016, Paul spent 18 years in various sales and marketing leadership roles with Maple Leaf Foods, Canada Bread and Frito-Lay. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph.

Eric Bentz , Executive Vice President, Global Marketing & Managing Director, Canada

Eric Bentz is responsible for consumer marketing, consumer insights, and go-to-market execution across our 50+ markets. He also oversees our business in Canada, where he is responsible for growth plans and execution across our customer base. In addition, Eric serves as a board director for the Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada and chairs the Board of Directors for our China Joint Venture.

Prior to joining Jamieson Wellness in 2021, Eric had a 20-year career across a variety of commercial functions and geographies. He worked in general management for GSK Consumer Healthcare in Central Europe; Novartis Consumer Health in Canada; and at ResearchGate – the world’s #1 platform for open science.

Eric is a seasoned marketer, starting his career with Kraft Foods as a brand manager and later working for Coca-Cola and Novartis Consumer Health in a series of senior marketing roles. He holds an MBA from the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of International Business from the University of Victoria.

Tara Martin , Sr. Vice President, General Counsel

Tara Martin is our Senior Vice President, General Counsel. Ms. Martin provides legal advice and recommendations on commercial and business initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, risk management and general corporate legal affairs. Previously, Ms. Martin was the General Counsel of Nutrawise Health and Beauty, responsible for strategic and day-to-day legal guidance in support of all aspects of the business. Prior to joining Nutrawise, Ms. Martin was a partner at the law firm of Gordon & Rees Scully Mansukhani from 2003 through 2016, and an Associate with the firm Smith Campbell from 1997 through 2003. Throughout her law firm career, she was an experienced civil litigator representing companies ranging in size from start-ups to large publicly traded companies. Her practice areas included intellectual property, complex commercial litigation, employment, and product liability. Ms. Martin holds a Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law. A lifetime advocate for health and wellness, she also serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Washington DC-based dietary supplement trade association the Council for Responsible Nutrition.

Robert Chan , Vice President, Finance

Rob Chan, CPA, CA is our Vice President, Finance and is responsible for financial reporting, financial planning, internal controls, treasury and tax. Prior to joining us in 2014, Mr. Chan led the external financial reporting function for a dually listed (TSX and NASDAQ) consumer packaged goods company and had integrated businesses through his involvement in strategic acquisitions. Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
